These dogs are invaluable for security, but they’re also very expensive and they can get tired.
Duke researchers have taken the first steps toward building an artificial “robot nose” device made from living mouse cells that officers could use instead of dogs.

 Smartphones to detect milk adulteration 
Researchers at IIT-Hyderabad are working on developing smartphone-based sensors to detect adulteration in milk.
As a first step, they have developed a detector system to measure the acidity of milk through an indicator paper that changes colour depending on the level, a statement said.

Flipkart Deploys 100 Automated Robots In Its Bengaluru Delivery Hub Flipkart has deployed a swarm of 100 odd robots to help sort packages at one of its delivery hubs in the outskirts of Bengaluru. The robots, dubbed automated guided vehicles (AGVs), pick products from a conveyor belt, scan them and then drop them down a chute that’s assigned to a particular pin code.
