Flipkart Deploys 100 Automated Robots In Its Bengaluru Delivery Hub
Flipkart has deployed a swarm of 100 odd robots to help sort packages at one of its delivery hubs in the outskirts of Bengaluru.
The robots, dubbed automated guided vehicles (AGVs), pick products from a conveyor belt, scan them and then drop them down a chute that’s assigned to a particular pin code.
As of now, Flipkart’s robots are able to sort nearly 4,500 packages in an hour which is reportedly ten times more than a single human would achieve at the same time.

ISRO to launch electronic intelligence satellite ‘Emisat’
ISRO would be using a PSLV rocket with four strap-on motors. For the first time, it will be trying to orbit the rocket at three different altitudes.
The main passenger of the PSLV rocket will be DRDO's electronic intelligence satellite 'Emisat'. The satellite alone weighs about 420 kg.
After launching Emisat at an altitude of 763 km, the PSLV rocket will be brought down to put the 28 satellites into orbit at an altitude of 504 km.

Google honours Bach with first AI-powered Doodle
The Google Doodle was created in honor of prolific composer Bach's birthday.
Google says the Doodle uses machine learning to 'harmonize the custom melody into Bach's signature music style.'
Google engineers said they trained these machine learning models to spit out 'polyphonic music in the style of Bach.

With a “hello,” Microsoft and UW demonstrate first fully automated DNA data storage
Microsoft and Washinton University scientists have developed the first fully automated DNA data storage that codes digital information into manufactured DNA.
The $10,000 prototype encoded "hello" into DNA in liquid form and translated it back into digital information in 21 hours.
Microsoft said that natural DNA found in bones preserved information for several thousands of years.

Google unveils game streaming platform Stadia
Google unveiled a streaming platform called Stadia that allows video game play on any internet-connected device, eliminating the need for games consoles.
The tech platform, announced at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, aims to connect more people to participate in interactive play on PCs, tablets, smartphones and other devices.
